Kuvasz
Summary
The Kuvasz is an imposing livestock guardian dog originating from Hungary, with a history dating back at least to the 15th century, when it was so valued by Hungarian royalty that only members of the nobility could own one. King Matthias Corvinus surrounded himself with Kuvaszok (plural of Kuvasz) for his personal protection. Despite its majestic appearance with its white coat, it is a tireless worker and a formidable protector.
