Summary
The Slovakian Hound (Slovenský Kopov) is the only Slovakian hunting dog recognized by the FCI, developed in the Slovak Carpathians for wild boar hunting. It is a hardy and determined scent hound, adapted to mountainous terrain and cold climates. It is highly prized by Slovak and Hungarian hunters for its persistence and resistance to fatigue.

Temperament & Personality
