Summary
The Segugio Maremmano is a relatively recent Italian scent hound in terms of official FCI recognition, from the Maremma region (Tuscany and Lazio). It is a rustic and hardy hunting dog, developed on the coastal plains of the Maremma for wild boar hunting. Provisionally recognized by the FCI in 2009, it is a pure working breed.
