Resumen
The Schillerstövare is a Swedish scent hound developed by Per Schiller in the late 19th century, from crosses between German and Austrian scent hounds and local Swedish dogs. It is one of the fastest scent hounds in Scandinavia, developed for hare hunting in deep snow. In 1886, two specimens of this breed won the first Swedish dog show, securing official breed recognition.
