Resumen
The Polish Hound (Ogar Polski) is the national scent hound breed of Poland, with a documented history dating back to the 13th century. Developed from local scent hounds and probably influenced by St. Hubert Hounds, it was bred for pack hunting in the forests and plains of Poland. It is a robust, solidly built dog with an exceptionally deep voice.

Temperamento y personalidad
The Polish Hound is an intelligent, determined dog with a solid temperament. Outside of hunting, it is an affectionate and calm companion, very loyal to its owner. Its deep and powerful voice is one of its most distinctive characteristics — the bay of a Polish Hound can be heard from great distances. It is generally good with children and other dogs.
